The club is celebrating it’s 60 year anniversary this season and has invited current and former players, managers and staff to a big party being held on Tuesday 25th March at Meadow Lane. The most important people to get an invite though are Supporters Club members past and present.
The Supporters Club was started as a travel club back in the 1947/48 season and there were many local ‘branches’ of members. Now current Supporters Club chairman Iris Smith is appealing to any fans who had been members or know anyone connected with the club at any time over the last 60 years to get in touch.
Iris said: “It is so important that we celebrate this important milestone for our Supporters Club. We know that the club has had thousands of different members over the years so we really want them to get in touch and tell us more about the history and if they still have any badges, membership cards, forms or memorabilia from years gone by.
“We have invited hundreds of players, managers and anyone connected with the club to our party on 25th March which should be a brilliant occasion”
Tickets for the party are now on sale from the Club shop or Supporters Club office on Meadow Lane.

This season marks the 60th anniversary of the formation of the Notts County Official Supporters Club.
Back in 1947 a group of fans got together to launch a supporters association, which is still going strong as the Official Supporters Club. We would love to hear from anyone who has been involved with the Supporters Club in the early years, were you one of the original members or have you served as a committee member at some point?
Over the years the Supporters Club has developed into one of Notts County’s biggest fundraisers, having raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help our football club. Over the years we have donated various things from the 1960’s training kit to mountain bikes and laptops in the 21st century. It is with your valuable membership that we can continue to purchase items for the club.
Last season we started a ‘Player Fund’ which was instrumental in the permanent signing of midfielder Jay Smith, after we provided £5000 to bring him and Daryl McMahon in on loan. The Supporters Club hopes to be in a similar position to help provide the football club with vital funding again this season – so if you are not a member join us now!
All membership fees and any profits from away travel coaches, raffles and other fundraising events go directly to helping Notts County Football Club, and as a member you also get:
